Etude House Be Clear Moisturizer Review

This is a review  for Etude House's Be Clear Moisturizer. The "Be Clear" line has four products including:
  • a cleansing foam
  • a toner
  • a moisturizer
  • a sheet mask
Originally I thought "be clear" meant preventing breakouts, but it is a "whitening" line, meaning that it helps lighten dark spots and discoloration.

Product is a thick white cream with the consistency of sunscreen.

A little difficult to blend into the skin, further rubbing in will allow it to soak into the skin.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5
Pros: I have oily skin and the level of moisture in the product is perfect for that, those with dry skin will want to steer clear of this product as it doesn't provide much moisture. The high SPF is always great when you live in a sunny area, this product does a good job at controlling oil and as a base for makeup. The smell of the product is light and pleasant, and the packaging is adorable. I don't know about the "whitening" properties because I haven't used it that long and also I use many products for my hyperpigmentation and acne marks so its impossible to pinpoint the cause exactly.

Cons: This product takes a bit of work to blend in, initially I was having problems with the product getting caught in my eyebrows and leaving them white-ish. Now I avoid getting the product there. This product leaves a whitecast not only in pictures but in real life too, so I personally won't wear it without foundation or bb cream over it. Those with lighter skin than may be able to get away with it though.

Would I repurchase?
I would repurchase, this is a good daytime moisturizer for me.
