Etude House Wonderpore Freshner Review!

This review is for Etude House's Wonder Pore Freshner. This is a toner that is part of their "wonder pore" line which is meant to reduce pore size and overall help with sebum production.
The line also includes:
  •  a scrubbing brush
  • "modeling clear" (a thick clay peel off mask)
  •  a normal pore clay mask
  •  soda capsules that you drop in water and can use as toner.

What I purchased was the 500 ml bottle of the toner. It also comes in a 250 ml size.

The 500 ml bottle come with a pump dispenser which is very convenient and no-fuss. It reminds me of the bottles used at nail salons. It's easily controllable unlike turning a toner bottle over, unfortunately the 250 ml bottle lacks this convenient pump.

On the packaging Etude House clearly labels the 7 claims of this product. These claims are found throughout the wonder pore line, so ideally you would be using all of these products together.

On the back of the container, I thought this was cute.

The list of ingredients in both English and Korean.

Rating: 4 out of 5!!
I do really enjoy this product. About my skin type I have oily/combination skin and I live in a humid climate. As far as controlling sebum, this product does not hamper my oil production at all, I produce oil at the same exact rate. Even when I don't put on makeup I will oil up.

What I do enjoy about this product is that it does clean out my pores very well, I have not had any issues with black heads as I've used this. I find that it does balance my face out, for instance when I use a face wash that strips my skin, this product will put just enough moisture back into my face that it doesn't feel tight. It preps my skin very well for moisturizer which I always apply afterward.

The scent is barely detectable by me, just a faint alcohol scent which is the third ingredient. I think this will be a good toner for all skin types, unless you're adverse to using products with alcohol in it. The second ingredient is an extract that in cream form is used to teach rosacea which means it is quite soothing.

Would I repurchase? Yes, in a heartbeat, it has become my favorite toner!!

Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation Review (Love Violet)

So heres my first review for the products I purchased from gmarket. This is the Juicy Cocktail Gradation Nails in #3 Love Violet. I heard many good things about Etude House nail polishes, so I thought this was a good way to test them out since you get 3 colors in one box!

These sets come in 6 colors total:
#1 Screwdriver (orange)
#2 Kiss of Fire (light pink/coral)
#3 Love Violet (purple)
#4 Mint Frappe (mint/teal)
#5 Princess Marry (coral/gold)
#6 Angel's Kiss (silver)

Colors from left to right:
#1 (base) soft purple, #2 (middle) romantic purple, #3 (top) mystery purple

The brush is a standard size and work really well to get an even coat.

English instructions as to how to apply the product.

Korean instructions and guide photos.

The products on my nails.

The products on my nails.

Rating: 5 out of 5!!
I love this set, as far as the wear time is concerned they last a fairly long time on my nails. After about a week there are chips on my right hand which always chips first. I love the way the colors turned out on my nails, and they dried pretty quickly so there wasn't an issue with messing up the designs.

Would I repurchase? Of Course! I absolutely loved these and am looking at the different colors to figure out which one I will purchase next.

I purchased this via gmarket for 5400won but they of course are available via ebay and other sites. The regular price for this product is around $5.61 so keep that in mind when looking for a place to purchase it from.

Gmarket Haul (Innisfree & The Face Shop) Haul Part 3!

On to the final part of my Gmarket haul which will consist of Innisfree and The Face Shop items. The whole reason I begun this large hauk is because I wanted to restick on sheet masks and on ebay they are double and triple the price then when you buy them from Korea. For the last time I will be reviewing all of these items, save for the sheet masks, (honestly they are all the same). But if you would like me to review something quicker be sure to let me know!! For all of these items via snail mail, they cost $30 to ship which is insanely cheap considering it wouldve probably cost over $100 to ship via EMS, which is the service Gmarket uses.

So the next part of my haul from Gmarket is going to consist of the products I've purchased from Holika Holika and Nature Republic, there is only one more part after this (finally!). So the rest of the products I've purchased are contained there. I believe Holika Holika ships internationally from Gmarket while Nature Republic does not, so you may have to order the NR products via ebay or another site. The Holika Holika items I got for 30% off while only one of the NR things was on sale.

Again I'm planning on reviewing all of these products, but if theres something you would like to see first be sure to comment and request it!!

G-Market (Etude House) Haul!! [Part 1]

So I have been ordering off of Gmarket as of lately. Originally I was hesitant to do so due to the high shipping charge. I found a way to get around it for this haul, I had a friend who was teaching in Korea so I bought the items, shipped them to her and them she shipped them to me via snail mail (took 6 weeks). I saved a considerable amount of money doing it this way though, and I also had access to shops that did not ship internationally this way (Etude house ships internationally though!).

But on to what you've all been waiting for, my haul!! First up is my etude house products. Etude House is easily my favorite Korean cosmetic company. I got all of these products for 10% off since Etude was having a sale at the time (little did I know I should've actually waited for 30% off grrrr). So below are the products I got as well as the price I paid for it including the slight discount! I plan on reviewing all of these products so stay tuned for that!!

Wonderpore Freshner 500ml bottle

Happy fresh foam in white clay and Witch Hazel (For oily skin)
3600 won each) ($3.28)

7650 won ($6.97)

I actually got three of these for free with buying the Wonderpore Freshner!
3 x 1 fl bottles (gave one to a friend) Baking Powder Cleansing Foam Moist

This was a gift with all of my purchases!! Aloe Moistfull skincare kit!

"I need you" sheet masks in lemon and red ginseng.
900 won each ($.82)

Beginnings

This is the introduction post for my new beauty blog as the title I would hope suggests. I thought that it was time that I contribute back to the blogging community since I very often base my purchases and color choices on blogs that I see throughout the internet. I hope in any small way my blog is able to help someone make a decision regarding makeup. That would make this blog a success in my eyes. I think I am going to mostly focus on Korean cosmetics in the beginning as it is hard to find a good number of English reviews on specific makeup items from this country, I may sprinkle some randomness of other cosmetics in there as well :D
